Spreading Christmas Cheer
and keeping you safe while putting up your Christmas decorations!
While working at height is probably not the first thing that springs to mind about Christmas, it’s a busy time for our machines. We’ve been out and about putting Christmas decorations up across Newcastle and Huntingdon all month. Here are just a few of the highlights!
Alnwick Christmas lights
We’ve been providing the Alnwick Christmas Lights Committee with the equipment to assemble their original display for over 25 years now. They are entirely volunteer-run and rely on money from fundraising and subscribers, so it’s always a joy to help. Their Christmas decorations always spectacular too.
Daft as a Brush Cancer care
Daft as a Brush is a fantastic local charity providing essential transport for patients receiving cancer treatment. We like to assist them when we can, including with their annual Christmas tree lights. We usually keep it in-house, but this year, we had extra help from a regular customer, Duncan Paylor. They kindly operated the van for us and assisted with the lights. Thank you!
Spanish City Christmas tree
Our Star 10 went out on self-drive hire to assist in assembling the impressive Christmas tree at the newly renovated Spanish City in Whitley Bay. If you’re in the area and want to take a look, you can find the tree in Trenchers restaurant, beneath the dome.
City of Ely Council Christmas decorations
We have worked for Ely City Council for several years now, hiring out our 13m Versalift van mounted platform and our 21M CTE truck-mounted platform for four weekends throughout November to up their sparkling Christmas displays.
