MEWPS: quicker and cheaper for tree work!
When the HSE UK recommended that tree companies move away from traditional methods in favour of safer access platforms, many companies argued that the platforms were not designed to cope with the intricacies of tree work. That was almost twenty years ago!
MEWPs are now playing a significant role in providing safe and cost-effective access for tree surgeons. And tracked access platforms are some of the front runners.
17m Hinowa Tracked Access Spider Lift
Renowned for its extreme capabilities, our Hinowa spider lift offers an impressive 7.5 m outreach and a working height of 17 m. With its all-terrain tracked chassis, the Hinowa is ideal for accessing remote trees. They also work well on uneven ground, steep inclines, rough terrain and grass.
At just 0.8m wide, 2m high and 4.5m long (without the cage), the Hinowa can squeeze its way through dense forest, garden paths and small gates. This makes it ideal for awkward access in backyards, private and public gardens and parklands.
The Hinowa exerts a very low surface load, perfect for landscaped or ornate gardens and delicate lawns.
The two-man cage (230kg SWL) provides easy access to tree branches whilst still providing a safe and stable platform for workers to complete a wide range of tree work.
