Our Tracked Spiderlift Working Alongside Drones
Recently, our IPAF trained operator Gary had the opportunity to take our 20.10m Tracked Hinowa Spiderlift out for an exciting operated hire with Landscan!
The Spiderlift was perfect for this unique project in Monks Wood, Huntingdon, where Landscan worked alongside Natural England to capture stunning imagery and gather precise measurements. Thanks to its 20.10m height and ability to easily navigate through fielded areas, the machine allowed drone operators to stand high above the ground and closely observe their drones in action. One drone snapped high-resolution photos of the woods, while the other utilised lasers to measure the heights of the trees.
Jamie from Landscan said “I was very happy with the service provided by Warren Access and their operator Gary made the job much easier for us to complete our work.”
Landscan UK are licensed, qualified UAV operators, specialising in remote sensing data collection, photogrammetry and GIS augmentation.
Landscan are now using this data to create a detailed 3D image of the entire woodland, giving a whole new perspective on the beauty of Monks Wood!
We’re thrilled to have been a part of this innovative project, helping push the boundaries of technology and nature!
